Mere, meaning pure and unmixed.
On his first solo EP, Tom Besuyen uses a pure and minimalistic approach to sound to create an intimate listening experience. The three track EP was recorded in one day with producer David van Gils, with each track retaining its imperfections and raw honesty. The mastering, done by Rob Kanters, has also kept the pure essence of each of the three acoustic tracks. Tom’s voice and his guitar have been stripped to their most poetic nakedness with just one subtle effect added to each song.
